ABOUT JAINISM

Jainism traditionally known as Jaina dharma is an Indian religion. Jainism believe in  non-violence towards all living bring and equality all forms of life. Amd also belive in non-violence amd self-control are the means by which they can obtain liberation. Present age jainism divided in to major sects
1.Svetambara
2.Digambara
The word jainism is fund from the Sanskrit verb jin which means conquer. It refers to a battle with the passions and body pleasures that jaina ascetics undertake Those who win this battle are termed as jina. The jaina is therefor usd to refer to laymen and ascetics of this tradition alike.
jainisim is one of the oldest region in all world. Jainism trace thair history through a succession of 24 Tiethankar with rushabha as the 1st and Mahaveer as the last of the prsent age.
For a long period of time jainsim was the tate region of Indain kingdoms and widely adopted in the Indain subcontainent. The jainism region has been in decline since the 8th century CE due to the growth of and follower Hinduism.
The population of jainism in India is very less with 4.2 million adherents and the communities in Belgium, Canada, Honh Kong, Japan, singapore and United States. Jainism have the highest degree of literacy od any religious community in India and their manuscript libraries are the oldest in the country.

FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM

The main 5 pillar of Islam are 5 basic acts in Islam. The Quran present them as a framework for worship and sign of commitment to the faith.
1.Shahadah(CREED)
2.Daily prayer (SALAT)
3.Alms-giving (ZAKAT)
4.Fasting (RAMADAN)
5.Pilgrimage to Macca (HAJJ)
The Shia and Sunni sects both agree this 5Pillars.

1.Shahadah (CREED)

The Shahadah which is the basic creed of Islam that must be recited under oath with specific statement:
" I testify there are no deities other than God alone and I testify that Muhammand is the Messenger of God."
This statement is a  foundation for all the Islam. Muslims must respect the Shahadah in prayer.

2.Daily prayer (SALAT)

Ritual prayers, called Salah or Salat, It must be performed 5 time in a day. Salat is intended to focus the mind on God, and is seen as a personal communication with God. The prayers are written in the Arabic Language and consist of verses from Quran.

3.Alms-giving (ZAKAT)

"Zakat" is giving fixed portion of accumulated wealth by those who can afford it to help the poor or needy and for those employed to collect Zakat, also for bringing hearts together, freeing captives, for those in debt and for the traveller.

4.Fasting (RAMADAN)

Fasting, from food and drink must be performed from dawn to dusk during the month of Ramadan. The fast is to encourage a feeling of nearness to god and during it Muslims should express their gratitude for and dependence on God.

5.Pilgrimage to Macca (HAJJ)

The Pilgrimage, called the HAJJ. Hajj has to be done during the period of Islamic month of Dhu al-hijjah in the city of Mecca. Every Muslims who can afford to go Hajj, it must make the Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in his/her life.
